Product Description
This print depicts some of the wonderful things in the University of Oxford Botanic Garden. It is the oldest botanic garden in Great Britain and one of the oldest scientific gardens in the world. The garden was founded in 1621 as a physic garden growing plants for medicinal research. Today it contains over 5,000 different plant species on 1.8 ha.
The artwork was formed using hand painted blue inks by artist Holly Francesca. It forms part of our special Botanical Gardens collection, made in celebration of our 10 year business anniversary. (Our first ever design was a Map of Kew Gardens so it only seemed fitting to celebrate in this botanical way!)
