This romantic neighborhood park is officially named 'Guerra Junqueiro Garden', but everyone calls it Jardim da Estrela (Estrela Garden). It dates back to 1852, right across from Basílica da Estrela, and has duck ponds, a playground, an old wrought-iron bandstand, a kiosk and a café. In between it all are several sculptures and exotic plants. This design was created from original drawings & painted small marks to showcase the beautiful tree-lined landscaped gardens on show. A colourful, yet calm piece taking inspiration from heritage and artistic archives.
